The Denver Broncos have their next head coach.

Sean Payton is the man.

Tuesday, the Broncos and New Orleans Saints, who still hold Payton's contract rights, agreed to a trade that would enable the Broncos to hire Payton.

The Broncos will reportedly send a 2023 first round draft pick and a second-round selection in 2024 to the Saints, while getting a 2024 third round pick back from New Orleans.

Payton was the Saints head coach from 2005-2021 and led New Orleans to a 31-17 win over the Colts in Super Bowl XLIV on February 7, 2010.

KOA NFL Insider Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network spoke with Dave Logan, Alfred Williams and Ryan Edwards on the KOA Sports Zoo and talked about how the deal came together.

KOA Broncos Insider Benjamin Allbright talked with the guys about the hire.

The guys also spoke with former Saints running back and current color analyst Deuce McAllister, who played for Coach Payton.

Former Saints wide receiver Lance Moore also joined the KOA Sports Zoo.
