Thursday night, the Denver Nuggets started fast and kept rolling in a 140-108 win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Nuggets scored 41 points in the first quarter and led by 13 points after the first 12 minutes.

They proceeded to outscore the Trail Blazers in every quarter, finishing with 39 points in the fourth to complete the blowout.

Will Barton led Denver with 21 points, four rebounds and a couple of assists. Nikola Jokic added 20 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

Denver's shot a sizzling 52-83 from the field (62.7%) and hit 21-of-42 three-pointers. Six Nuggets scored in double figures.
