The Nuggets don't have a lot of minutes to go around, but they did use their 1st rd pick on VCU Sophomore Guard Nah-Shon "Bones" Hyland, who may push for some playing time, at least until Jamal Murray returns from his torn ACL, suffered April 12th.
The 6-3 Hyland can do the hardest thing there is to do with a basketball and that's put it in the hoop as he average 19.5 points this past season for the Rams, shooting 37.1 percent from the 3-point line on 7.8 attempts per game. From the field, "Bones," shot 44.7% and was a scorching 86.2% from the charity stripe.
Hyland is not short on personality and that certainly came through in his post-selection zoom, and via social media.
