The Avalanche were without their Head Coach during Thursday's Morning Skate in Las Vegas, as Jared Bednar was dealing with Covid Testing irregularities. Thus, his assistants handled the light workout before must-win Game 6 for the Avs, who trail 3-2 to the Golden Knights.

Defenseman Devon Towes seemed unfazed by Bednar's absence, "just he coaching staff leading practice," he said, "we have a pretty good routine on gamedays with our skates, there's not much coaching that needs to go on there, it's pretty much business as usual."

Forward Joonas Donskoi echoed those sentiments saying, "we are thinking that he'll be back tonight, if not, we know what to do. We've been talking about things that we need to get better at for a long time, and I think last game, was a pretty good game for us, so we'll just be looking to build, and get a win."

Puck drop for Game 6 from Sin City, tonight at 7.
