Colorado Introduces the Digital ID

Colorado is giving residents the option to load a digital form of their driver's license or ID casr to their smart phones. The Digital ID will be accepted by all state agencies starting December 1st. The only exception is the State Patrol, which may get the technology sometime next year to verify digital identification. The state is also working with federal agencies and the TSA to get them to accept the Colorado Digital ID. Merchants, bars and other businesses are also being urged to accept digital identification.

To load your ID onto your smart phone go to the My Colorado App.
