A holiday party with Santa Clause at Children's Hospital also had an unexpected guest on Thursday, former First Lady Michelle Obama.
In Denver on her book tour, Obama made a surprise visit to the hospital where she read The Night Before Christmas and then answered questions from young patients.
She revealed that Barack Obama's Christmas gift will likely be a golf shirt. She offered some advice to the children telling them not to be ruled by fear. She told them "you don't want to get stuck in a place just because you're afraid to try."
