Teachers across Colorado will be out picketing this afternoon in the name of better funding for education. It's part of the Colorado Education Association's push for Amendment 73, which is on the statewide ballot on November. If approved, it would raise corporate taxes as well as individual state income taxes for those making over 150-thousand-dollars a year. Supporters say the move would amount to one-point-six-billion-dollars a year in education funding. Today's pickets are set for after classes end for the day.
