The Amtrak Winter Park Express will be back for the first three months of 2019. Tickets are on sale now for as low as $29 each way. Children 2-12 travel for half price.
Service will start on January 4th and run each Saturday and Sunday through March 31. Friday trips are scheduled for the first two Fridays of each month.
Many skiers enjoy the hour and a half trip from Denver's Union Station to Winter Park instead of sitting in traffic on I-70. The train drops you off just steps away from the ski lifts at Winter Park.
Since 2017, more than 30,000 people have taken the Amtrak Winter Park Express.
