The newly formed Aerotropolis Regional Transportation Authority will spend nearly $750 million to build a transportation network on a 21,000 acre site located south of Denver International Airport. With infrastructure in place, Aurora and Adams County hope to bring thousands of jobs and homes to the Aurora Highlands.
ARTA will widen roads and rebuild and add interchanges to an area that has been undeveloped for years. Government leaders say the improvements will spark new growth that will include homes and new businesses.
