Construction is getting underway to ease congestion along I-25 north of Denver. Crews are installing new express lanes in each direction from Johnstown to Fort Collins. Work got underway yesterday on the project. Construction is expected to be done by 2022. A similar project to ease traffic issues south of Denver along I-25 recently broke ground as well.
