Denver police have arrested a 38 year old man for the murders of three homeless people on South Broadway last month. Two men and a woman were found shot to death on August 9th. Maurice Butler was already in jail for investigation of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and a parole violation, and he has remained in custody since then. Investigators say Butler knew at least two of the victims and this wasn't a random incident, but they aren't releasing any information on a motive at this point.
