Uber hits the streets of Denver...again...but this time, not with a car. Uber now has bikes on the streets of Denver. Uber's e-bikes service is launching with 250 bikes and plans to have 500 spread across Denver by the first quarter of next year. E-bike users pay 1 dollar to check out a bike and then 15 cents for each minute on the bike. You use the same Uber app as when you hail a car. The app shows where bikes are located and then you use your phone to scan a bar code on the back of the bike. The bikes can be pedaled manually, or powered by an electric motor.
