U.S. Secretary of Energy Rick Perry will be in the metro area today. He has a visit set for the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden. Perry is expected to tour the facility with Colorado U.S. Senator Cory Gardner. They'll be getting a first-hand look at the research and development being carried out at the location. Perry and Gardner are expected to give remarks after the tour.
