Zoo assessing damage from hailstorm

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo President Bob Chastain says in his 23 years at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo he's never seen anything of this magnitude.  Hail the size of softballs injured 16 people on Monday afternoon.  5 of them were taken to the hospital.   A vulture and a duck were killed and 16 other animals have mostly minor injuries.  Chastain says a mercat is missing but is likely burrowing in the ground out of fear. The El Pomar Foundation has donated $100,000 to help pay for the damage, but Chastain has no idea what that will cost at this point.
