Denver Restaurants 4th in the Nation for Noise

According to a study for the hearing aid maker Oticon, Denver restaurants ranked fourth in the nation for noise.  The average decibel reading in Denver eateries was 80.32.  That's equivalent to a diesel powered train chugging along at 45 miles per hour.

Only restaurants in Nashville, Portland and Washington D.C. were louder.

Oticon says there's a restaurant dilemma these days as people have difficulty having conversations with others at their table because of noisy environments.  Thanks to technology, new hearing aids have settings to help people hear through the din of a busy restaurant.
