Bicyclists routinely run stop signs--now they can do it legally. Governor Hickenlooper has signed a bill that allows towns to permit bicyclists to roll through stop signs without stopping, and to stop at red lights before starting again and then going through the light. The Post reports the new law will provide more consistency from town to town on bike laws, as a few towns already permit bicyclists to roll through stop signs: Aspen, Dillon, and Breckenridge.
