Poachers Take Mountain Goats on Quandary

Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials say two mountain goats were shot and killed this week on Quandary Peak, south of Breckenridge. Rangers say the goats were found just over half a mile from the 14,000-foot-plus peak's summit. Poaching mountain goats is a felony, and can carry jail time, license suspensions, and fines of more than $20,000 per animal. Officials say they want to hear from anyone who has information.
