The fast-growing Lake Christine fire has forced overnight evacuations in Eagle County. The fire's burning near the town of Basalt, about 20 miles southeast of Glenwood Springs. It had grown to about 2,400 acres Wednesday, and several hundred people evacuated their homes. It's unclear how many more had to leave their homes overnight. Roaring Fork and Basalt high schools are being used as evacuation centers.
