Coors Events Center has a new name

CU is looking for a new name for the athletic arena.  The Coors Events Center is now called the CU Events Center.  Spokesman Dave Plati says the arena was named in 1990 when Coors gave a $5 million dollar donation to build the Dal Ward Athletic Center.  Now the University wants on-going naming rights.  CSU sold the naming rights to it's new football field to the Public Service Credit union for more than $37 million dollars.
