Police raid "gambling parlors," arrest three

Denver police have arrested three people and confiscated equipment from so-called "game of skill" parlors. The raids were similar to ones in Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Grand Junction, and Evans. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation has been investigating illegal gambling operations for nearly a year. One of the parlors' owners, Tammy Garamova, says the games are like arcades, except that a player can win money back. Garamova and her husband were arrested, along with one other person.  They're being charged with illegal gambling and operating slot machines. The question of the legality of "games of skill" is currently being debated in the state legislature.
