A top researcher hints that, if current conditions don't change, the upcoming Atlantic hurricane season could be an active one. Speaking yesterday at the National Hurricane Conference in Orlando, Phil Klotzbach of Colorado State University said those conditions include a weak La Nina event and a slightly warmer than normal temperature in the Atlantic. But he says things could change between now and the peak of the season. Klotzbach will release his 2018 hurricane forecast on April 5th.
