Toddler Death May Be Accidental Drowning

The El Paso County Sheriff's Office says it is investigating the death of 2 year old Nain Dominguez as an accidental drowning.   Dominguez was reported missing on Saturday evening near the Stratmoor Hill Trailhead Park at 1215 Forest Road.   An Amber Alert is was issued for a white paneled van with no windows.   Once investigators determined the vehicle was no longer of interest in the case, the Amber Alert was cancelled.   On Sunday morning, Nain Dominguez was found and taken to a hospital in critical condition.  Despite, medical intervention, he later died.   While the El Paso County Sheriff's office is not releasing details, they say the investigation is ongoing and that are treating the case as an accidental drowning.
