At their Spring concert the Standley Lake High School concert band played an original piece of music composed specifically for one of their band members 17-year-old Jack Knight. Jack is battling Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. With he help of a device attached to his wheelchair, Jack plays baritone in the band. A charity called Chase the Music helped make it happen. KOA's Jerry Bell attended the first performance of the piece called "Ataraxia."
