A man will spend nearly 50 years in prison for a 1992 cold case out of Commerce City. Dionicio Ramos-Ascencio was sentenced yesterday on counts of attempted murder and sexual assault. Prosecutors say he broke into a woman's home and stabbed and beat the victim, before sexually assaulting her.
