Big Settlement In Frisco Chopper Crash

Two companies will have to pay out a 100-million-dollar settlement connected to a 2015 chopper crash in the Frisco area.  A suit had been filed on behalf of a flight nurse who was left with 90-percent of his body burned.  Airbus Helicopters and the medical transport company Air Methods were named in the legal action.  It blamed the fire that followed the crash on a plastic fuel tank, which ruptured.  The case was set to go to trial in the coming weeks, but the settlement was announced yesterday.
