Colorado Senator Cory Gardner had his get together today with Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Sen. Gardner says he reiterated his concerns that states rights were being infringed on with the Justice Department's decision to rescind current policy on legal marijuana enforcement. Sen. Gardner says he and the Attorney General agreed to continue talks.
Gardner hosted a bipartisan group of Senators yesterday to discuss a path forward, which would respect the will of the voters and defend the rights of states. Other members of Colorado's Congressional delegation have sent a letter to the Attorney General, requesting him to reconsider his position on legal pot.
