Over the next few days, the Geminid Meteor Shower will be putting on a celestial light show. It's best to view the shower away from city lights. Dress warmly, because the best views are between midnight and dawn. Doug Duncan, with C-U-Boulder's Fiske Planetarium, says he hopes a few of the meteorites will make it to the ground. As meteor showers go, Duncan says the Geminid Shower is his third favorite. He says the Perseids in summer are the best show because you don't have to freeze in the cold to see them.
