It was announced this morning that the Denver Broncos will play the defending champion Los Angeles Rams on Christmas Day this upcoming season! The full NFL schedule will be announced on Thursday night at 6pm MTN and of course we'll have you covered on KOA.
Tom Brady signed a 10-year, $375 million deal with Fox Sports to be in the booth when he eventually retires from the NFL. We discussed how his likeability has increased since leaving the Patriots making this monumental contract more realistic even if there are concerns about the overall return on investment.
The timing of the game against the Rams would hopefully mean the Broncos are playing their best football by then. We discussed, with Russell Wilson's propensity to hold the ball and improvise, how Nathaniel Hackett can help him and the offense early in the season with easy successes on the field. The conversation not only encompassed the receivers but how the offensive line will need time to learn how Russ likes to run his offense as well.
Former NFL DB and host on Locked on 49ers Eric Crocker joined the show to discuss the Deebo Samuel situation, what to expect from Pat Surtain in Year 2 and what he thinks about the new Broncos CBs K'Waun Williams and Demarri Mathis. Listen to the full interview here.
Vinny Bonsignore with Raider Nation Radio joined the show to break down the Raiders offseason, where he thinks they've improved the most and how they stack up in the AFC West. Listen to the full interview here.
NFL Six Pack with stories on Tom Brady vs Peyton Manning in the booth, how Alex Smith mentoring Patrick Mahomes isn't the standard and what the reported $5 Billion selling price of the Broncos really means.
