CAN WE TALK ABOUT VICTOR MARX? Victor Marx burst onto the political scene a few months ago buoyed by religious folks who love his story of fighting for vulnerable people around the world. It is an interesting story, but one that won't be challenged much it appears. Since announcing, Marx has declined to appear with any other candidates to my knowledge. He just announced here that he would be foregoing such events due to "personal attacks" on his family, none of which I've seen or hear anywhere. Here he offers more excuses by saying other candidates are associated with someone who attacked his daughter. I have no clue what he's talking about, nor do I particularly care other than I hate to see any woman victimized in any way. But this comes off as a giant, moralistic smoke screen by a guy who doesn't want to be questioned by anyone. We did a forum with three candidates who got on stage and offered their vision for Colorado. Nobody attacked anyone. His team has not responded to our requests for an interview. When Ryan Schuiling got him on his show Victor attacked Ryan, which is a classic tactic to take the focus off yourself. Several people I know and respect who were initially supporters have now moved on to other candidates without comment. I'm going to be frank here and say I do not trust this man. If he gets to the General Election he won't be able to count on enough evangelicals to get him over the finish line and his cutesy "I'm not going to give these people any publicity" won't work when Kyle Clark starts to relentlessly hammer him every night for the tactic. Politics ain't beanbag as they say, and he volunteered to enter the disgusting, vile world of it all on his own. If he thinks he can change the tone by dipping out, he's dead wrong. It may have worked for Trump, but Trump was a known quantity, Victor Marx is a slick set of social media videos and stories of derring do from behind a pulpit. There is no THERE there from what I can see, though I welcome him on my show if he'd like to discuss it. I doubt he will have the stones. Perhaps the better place for him is behind a pulpit with adoring parishioners who don't ask any questions.
ALEX PRETTI WAS NOT A PEACEFUL BYSTANDER I heard Ross say earlier that the video below doesn't matter and in one sense, he's right. The video below doesn't mean Alex Pretti should have been killed by ICE agents just short of two weeks later. But if you're looking at the larger narrative, which I most certainly am, this matters a lot.
Here is better view of him spitting on ICE officers as they try to ignore him while he calls them "F*cking Trash" before breaking their taillight by kicking it. Be sure and watch with the volume up to get the full effect of the whistles and horn blowing going on by these "protesters". These are not "protesters". They are there not to protest and warn neighbors but to get into it with ICE. Mr. Pretti yells "F*cking Assault Me" at the ICE agents face.
Again, none of this means he should die, but this is the work of the Democrats behind ICE Watch. Even MSNOW knows this goes well beyond protests with this article about the "resistance". Read this part where they spoke to a minister in the area:
Speaking to me on Wednesday, Wilson described a scene that he said is repeated at public schools all over Minnesota: “There were at least 8 volunteers with hi-vis vests over their clothes with whistles and phones at Central High School in St. Paul today and the same will be at pick up and probably more without the vests. … Volunteers are at school, arts and sporting events protecting public schools from ICE/CPB. These folks aren’t hiking signs or chanting. Their presence is to visually dissuade the raiders from any incursion or document their behavior if an incursion occurs.
“This is resistance to authoritarianism and protection of our communities, but I don’t think this day-to-day stuff is ‘protest.’”
How are they going to "dissuade the raiders"? My guess is that an ICE agent is going to get killed and then the real conflagration happens. I don't wish that will happen, but people like Alex Pretti have been told they are doing god's work so they won't stop until they protect every rapist, wife beater, and child molester in Minnesota. Again, my solution is let them. And then let them deal with the consequences. Even the police union in Minnesota knows that this is a terrible death that could have been avoided were it not for the Democrat policies that prevent them from helping.
THE SUPERINTENDENT OF CHERRY CREEK SCHOOLS HAS QUIT And I'd say this is good news but the board isn't good and they will hire another person who puts feelings above academic performance I bet. Read more here.

She is probably going to get probation but she'll always be a felon now.
DOUGLAS COUNTY SURE HAS COWARDLY COMMISSIONERS The little triumvirate running Douglas County doesn't need to hear from the public publicly. They have shut off all comments on social media, and now they've done away with the General Public comment section of the County Commission meetings. I get limiting comment, that makes sense and is commonly done. But this goes well beyond that. Now you can ONLY comment on things the Three Men have determined you should be allowed to speak about and NOTHING MORE. GOT THAT?? NOTHING. MORE. They say they want people to reach out to them directly via email, but they don't respond so there's that. This makes them look pathetic and cowardly.

You should watch the whole hearing below, it's fascinating and he is so, so good. There is literally nothing that was asked of him that he didn't absolutely crush. He even handled criticism from Rand Paul beautifully.

INJECTING POLITICS INTO THEATER ALWAYS LEAVES ME COLD There are incredible works of theatrical art that tackle big issues and subjects by design. From Julius Caesar to Hamilton, Assassins to Angels in America, the theater is rife with political commentary, and if I'm going to see a show of that sort I expect to be challenged or have my thoughts provoked. But not all theater is political and that's why I find this performative work stoppage by a local theater troupe to be annoying and self serving. But they are free to do what they want.
