I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream, so it's a good thing a couple of the best ice cream parlors and dessert shops in the country can be found right here in Colorado. Nothing says "It's finally summer" like your favorite flavor scooped in a cup or a cone and piled with crunchy toppings and drizzled with caramel or chocolate sauce.
According to a list of the "Top 100 Ice Cream Shops" for 2025 compiled by Yelp, two spots in the Centennial State are considered a must-visit for anyone looking for a sweet treat or a way to beat the heat and sunny summer weather:
- No. 74: Caffeinated Cow (Colorado Springs)
- No. 80: Stir-Pan Creamery (Breckenridge)
Here's what Yelp had to say about determining which shops made the list:
"This is an all-time list of the Top 100 Ice Cream Spots in the US according to Yelp. We identified businesses in the Ice cream category on Yelp, then ranked those spots using a number of factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews. When available, all businesses on this list have a passing health score as of April 14, 2025."
