IT'S A GLORIOUS TIME TO TALK ABOUT WEATHER! And Fox 31's Dave Fraser joins us to discuss all things weather related.

ARE WE HEADING FOR A RECESSION ANYWAY? I've got Alexander Salter, an economics professor at Texas Tech University’s business school and researcher at TTU’s Free Market Institute, on to discuss the Federal Reserve's latest move and why he thinks they need to try to do LESS for the economy than they are currently tasked with. He's on at 1p. Read his work here and here.

REGEN REVOLUTION STOPS BY At 2:30 to talk about some of the cool stuff they have to help you look and feel better. Find out more about them here or call 303-292-9992 for an appointment.

SOME UPDATES ON THE GOLDBERG SECURITY BREACH More details are coming out and no one seems to know how The Atlantic's editor Jeffrey Goldberg got added to a chat about bombing the Houthis in Yemen but legit questions are arising. Here is some new info from my friend David Strom at Hotair.com you should check out, especially these tweets about it. First off, they were using Signal because they were TOLD to use Signal to discuss non-classified information.

And then there's this, where Mike Walz, whose device added Goldberg, says he doesn't have Jeffrey Goldberg's number and doesn't know him at all.

It seems as if this story is not AS BAD as it first seemed, though it does call into question the security and integrity of every device being used if no one comes forward to admit they added Goldberg. I'm not going to pretend to understand the tech capabilities and how they could be used by bad actors here, but this is beginning to stink quite badly.

WHO WILL TAKE CARE OF THE HOMELESS HOTEL NOW? The Denver City Council, in a fit of pique about recent scandals involving employees of the Salvation Army at one of the homeless hotels, just refused to re up the contract with Salvation Army to continue running the hotels full of formerly homeless people, many of them addicts or mentally ill. Great, the Salvation Army definitely wasn't doing a great job on safety and some other stuff according to reports. But what now? The SA says they will continue to find other sources of funding but they have no idea how long that will last. So what does the City of Denver do when the Salvation Army runs out of money and just leaves? Is there a backup plan? Another provider in the wings? Seriously, what is the plan before this thing ends up with some Lord of the Flies new colony of homeless people running the joint?

WILL AI MAKE THE MAYOR'S OFFICE MORE RESPONSIVE? Anything is better than what they've got now. Mayor Mike Johnston's office is adopting a new AI platform that SHOULD help the office be more responsive and better at scheduling than they are now. Read about it here, but I doubt it makes it easier for him to find time to do this show.

PROTESTS IN THE GAZA STRIP CALL OUT HAMAS And though there is very little I trust that comes out of the Gaza Strip this is interesting because Hamas doesn't allow such open protest to happen normally without killing the protesters. It seems some Gazans have taken to the streets to chant "out, out Hamas" as they march. Read it here, but this could be the beginning of the end for the terror group. If these Palestinians really want to stop the war they need to start working with Israel to rat these people out and return the hostages. Then their lives get back to something better than normal.

A VACCINE SKEPTIC WILL BE LOOKING AT VACCINE SCIENCE I understand that this is controversial to many, but I'm all for hiring someone who says the government has a vested interest in keeping vaccine harms from the public in order to encourage uptake as the guy who is going to look at the science. Why? Because it will either prove of disprove his point, and then we can have a robust conversation about vaccine safety either way. I am not anti-vaccine to be clear. But I think the public has the right to now the potential downside of this load of vaccines we shove onto kids and we aren't getting that at all currently. Read more here.

SHOULD BASEBALL HAVE A SALARY CAP? Longtime baseball fan Mike Rosen says absolutely here.

APPLEHOP IS NOW GOING TO BE A THING As the parent company of Applebee's and IHOP are going to start building two-in-one stores where you can order off either menu. This is a really great idea and I'm wondering what other restaurant chains we can mash up together.

RUSSIA IS DRAGGING ITS FEET ON A CEASE FIRE And President Trump admitted as much during an interview with Newsmax, though he was kind of noncommittal in how he did it. Of course they are dragging their feet, they are going to try and wring as much out of this deal as possible.

TRUMP OVERHAULS ELECTIONS And I'm not sure how much of this will stick, as the states clearly have the right to run elections. His order that you must present proof of citizenship before you register to vote in federal elections will most assuredly be challenged, but he MIGHT have a leg to stand on because he only addresses federal elections here, but we'll see. I'm sure there are 50 Democrats outside the doors of friendly judges to stop this. That being said, a VAST MAJORITY of Americans support things like voter id, so this is another issue the Democrats are on the wrong side of. Our hyper partisan Secretary of State Jena Griswold says this is a "poll tax" because it requires people show up with actual documentation. Whatever. She is right when she says it's about voter suppression. It aims to suppress the votes of non-citizens. Democrats saying there is no voter fraud while in Connecticut Democrats were literally caught stuffing a ballot box with ballots isn't the best look anyway.

NO, GONDOLAS WON'T FIX DOWNTOWN I'm not saying I hate the idea of a gondola system to move people around downtown, but what will "fix" downtown is forced return to office orders along with a BIG increase in police presence and the prosecution of quality of life crimes committed by homeless people and other criminals. But you can read about the gondola thing here. It will cost JUST half a BILLION dollars to put this into place. Mmkay. Sure.

THE SECOND VICTIM IN THE EAST HIGH SHOOTING IS SUING And good. The former Dean of Culture has filed suit over the shooting by an East High student he was supposed to assist in a "pat down" as part of a safety plan for the kid who had already been kicked out of Cherry Creek's school district. Read it here and I'm going to be watching this closely, although I bet the district settles this so fast it will make our heads spin.

IT IS WAY TOO EXPENSIVE TO LIVE IN COLORADO With two of our cities, Denver and Colorado Springs, being in the top 20 for expensive places to live. We are very quickly trying to out California California, which has a bunch of cities on the list that also includes DC and Boston. Check it out here and remember, so much of this is the ruling Democrats in our state's fault. Just putting the blame where it belongs and I can totally back that up if needed.

NUCLEAR HAS ENTERED THE CHAT As a means of green energy in Colorado. A bipartisan bill adds nuclear to the list of approved green energy in Colorado, and with some of the small nuclear reactors almost ready for prime time, this could be good very quickly, especially if the Trump administration keeps streamlining the rules for environmentalist obstruction.
