ABOUT THAT ABORTION AMENDMENT I've said on the air that I believe Colorado voters will codify abortion right into our constitution this year because every vote we've had trying to limit abortion has failed miserably. We are pro-choice state. We've been a pro-choice state for a long time. All that being said I've got some folks who are working hard to change that on at 2:30. I'll be joined by Tom Perille MD Vice President, American Association of Pro Life Obstetrician Gynecologists Colorado and President, Democrats for Life of Colorado along with Wendy Smith, retired Acute Care Nurse Practitioner on to talk about Amendment 79. COLORADO GIVES UP ON TEACHING MATH And this story is SHAMEFUL. What an indictment of public education this is. Students are doing SO BAD on math, which is needed for pretty much every high tech good paying job at this point, that instead of drilling down and figuring out why they are doing so bad (EVERYDAY MATH, I'm looking at you) they are LOWERING the standards for graduation instead. How does this keep our kids competitive in an increasingly world based economy? It doesn't. This is so shameful. They say it's because the SAT changed and scores have been lower across the country, not allowing some kids who wanted to use those scores to pass the math requirement enough time to figure out an alternative. I say this is a lesson on not putting all your eggs in one basket. By the way, the max score on math for the SAT is 800 and the previous requirement was a 500 to use it to fulfill math credits. It's being lowered to 480 for the next two years.

BOULDER SAYS NO MORE MCMANSIONS At least they are considering a moratorium on homes over a certain number of square feet. They have concerns about affordable housing and the environmental impact of such homes, even though Boulder is already littered with them. You know who this really benefits? People with homes already over that number of square feet. Just saying.

She has made a fortune from telling rich white liberals that they are hopelessly racist. She also got tricked into paying Matt Walsh's black producer reparations in his new movie Am I Racist?. Find the movie this weekend and go see it. Demonstrate to Hollywood that there ARE movies people will come to the theater to see. She took 15 grand to just appear in the film. Heh.
