LAST NIGHT DIDN'T GO TOTALLY AS I'D LIKE As my friend Deborah Flora fell short in the 4th Congressional District as Lauren Boebert won handily. That being said, yes, I will be voting for Lauren in the 4th. The balance of power in the House is too important to take my marbles and go home, and politically I agree with Lauren on most issues. The BEST part of last night is the absolute shellacking of the extremes in both parties. On the right Dave Williams and Ron Hanks lost badly, as did almost all of the candidates endorsed by the current Colorado GOP. I can hear the wailing from the RINO Watch crowd from here. On the left, commie and Hamas lover Tim Hernandez was shown the door, as was Hamas lover Elisabeth Epps. It seems voters just want representatives who want to work together without slinging mud and calling other people who disagree with them names. You can see all the results here. I'm very proud of Coloradans of both parties who said enough is enough with the extremes. Hopefully Trump's people will sit down and shut up in contested primaries as they had a bad night when someone ran against them.
IT'S TIME TO REBUILD THE COLORADO GOP This note is for anyone on the Central Committee of the Colorado GOP. I'm asking, no, I'm BEGGING you to do the right thing and oust Dave Williams. His "leadership" has been so bad the party is divided and conquered and he has shown no desire to do anything other than tear everyone who disagrees with him down. He and his cabal of RINO name callers have done nothing positive, his candidates he endorsed were soundly rejected by the voters and he's wasting money fighting a battle over open primaries that he will lose again. It's time to rebuild the Big Tent party that was so successful in Colorado for so long while also recognizing the changing face of the Colorado demographics. We need a leader who will work tirelessly to get great GOP candidates elected while working to bring along people who could be those candidates. I tried to leave the party but it is too important to the future of Colorado that we have a functional, vibrant party to oppose the worst instincts of the Democratic majority and Williams clearly won't get that done. Please. Vote him out.
NATIONALLY ANTI SEMITES LOST Including the fire alarm pulling Jamaal Bowman in New York, whose primary ended up being the most expensive in history. Bowman lost his suburban New York district to a moderate who got a of outside money from people angry at his anti-Israel positions. Read more here. THE SUPREME COURT IS POISED TO DROP SOME BOMBS As they will release several opinions from very controversial cases they heard this year. They will do that in the next three days, and the fences are already up at the Supreme Court so you should pay attention. Read about what's coming here.
SHOCKER: MEN AND WOMEN'S BRAINS ARE REALLY DIFFERENT And anyone with any sense already knew this, but now a study from Stanford has fleshed it out scientifically. This study not only showed that our brains work differently, but there is NO OVERLAP on how they work differently. They work COMPLETELY differently. This should put to rest the notion that men can become women or vice versa. Read about the study here, I'm going to try to get someone on the show about it because it's super nerdy and interesting.
A GREAT STATEMENT ON ISRAEL BY... VAN JONES??? I did not expect this from Van Jones but it is welcome because he is absolutely right.
