DAVID WILLIAMS IS USING GOP DONOR MONEY FOR HIS OWN GAIN I have decided to come back to the Republican party in Colorado. Why? Because someone needs to be the one to demand David Williams be booted by the party before he destroys it in service to himself. This story from the Denver Gazette has images of the mailer the Colorado GOP under Williams sent out. In it he attacks (and I say he because there is no doubt he created this mailer himself) the Gazette in Colorado Springs because they dared to endorse his opponent in the CD-5 race. He also attacks Nikki Haley and licks Donald Trump's shoes. This is all a CLEAR violation of party bylaws which forbid the party and its officers from taking sides in a primary. He used party funds as his own campaign funds and I would love to find an attorney to sue him but I haven't donated to the party so I might now have standing. But I'm sure SOME of you have donated, haven't you? It's time to wrench the party back from these shady ass lunatics. Colorado's future depends on it.
DONALD TRUMP ENDORSES BOEBERT BUT WILL IT MATTER? I live in the 4th Congressional district where Lauren Boebert is now running. Maybe she has support in the rural areas but in DougCo I haven't met a single person who isn't DISGUSTED by her move to campaign in what she sees as an easier seat to run in. But now Trump has endorsed her, and Trent Liesy must be devastated. I'd love to hear from voters in the 4th who are hearing good things about her run here because I've not met one of them so far. I hope she loses and can spend more time helping her son through his current legal challenges. As a parent how do you not wonder if your absence during the teen years was part of the problem here? Just asking.

THE SUPREMES RULED ON TRUMP'S BALLOT ACCESS And they put Trump back on the ballot in Colorado. They said the states have no authority under the Constitution to prevent someone from running for federal office, though they could bar someone from running for state office. This is not a surprise.
YES, DENVER HAS CREATED THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT MESS Why are we overrun with migrants? Because we keep making it nice for them. That's the takeaway from this article in the Denver Gazette. Check this part out:

But if you keep reading, you'll see the response to this from our city leaders is "Nuh-uh" as they try to justify cuts to city services to keep providing the services that are bringing the immigrants here in the first place. I'm sure it will be fine. Fine.
POLIS'S CPW APPOINTMENTS GET REJECTED Because they are completely unsuited for the roles they were assigned to do. Him stacking the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Board with animal rights activists (I'm sure at the urging of the First Gentleman) has backfired as the Senate Committee to vet them first has said a big fat no to two of them. STATE REP PASSES BILL THAT ENRICHES HIMSELF It's a tale as old as time, really. A State Representative who just HAPPENS to be a class action attorney conveniently wrote and helped pass a bill that will enrich himself and other class action attorneys while not helping the class action victims at all. A class action suit almost always helps the attorneys more than the victims and this is not exception. I sure hope someone runs against him using this corrupt looking situation to boot him from the Legislature.
