BASEBALL EATS THE SHOW AT 12:30 TODAY So it's going to be quick and the blog is going to be small, just so you know.
YEMI MOBOLADE WINS IN THE SPRINGS And this is an EARTH shaking win in my opinion. The African immigrant becomes the first black man elected mayor in Colorado Springs, and he beat a well known Republican to do it. Not going to lie, I'd have voted from him if I'd had the chance, because he was such a fresh, non-partisan voice during this entire campaign. He may have shown us the way to beat some Democrats in the future as well. There may be hope for Colorado yet. This is a great article about what a big deal this is in the conservative stronghold of Colorado Springs. I don't think is spells the end of conservatism, I think is indicates a way forward beyond partisanship. Please let it be that.
THE IDIOT ROCK THROWERS ARE IN COURT To face multiple charges including murder after they threw landscaping rocks at passing cars and killed a woman. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. They will be in court today.

I'VE GOT NEW PROOF ABOUT THE DENVER NUGGETS DISRESPECT Even after they put on a commanding show at last night's Game 1 of the Western Finals. We use Getty Images for our photos on our blogs. They offer a bunch of photos from various events and when I put in "Denver Nuggets" into the search bar, about 85% of the photos were Lakers photos. Not kidding. About 25% were just of Lebron. There were like six that were good of Jokic. Who cares, just keep winning, Denver Nuggets!
DENVER'S STATUS AS A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE TOOK A NOSEDIVE That is how I would describe dropping from #55 to #99, wouldn't you? Why did it plunge? Because we are the 16th most expensive city in the country and the 15th most dangerous. Just three years ago, Denver was #2, right behind Boulder at #1. Boulder remains at #4. This is a huge embarrassment if you ask me.
BEN MURREY HAS ANOTHER VIDEO ABOUT THE PROPERTY TAX MESS And you should watch why he calls the Governor's "fix" is extortion.
