For more than ten years, Bill Sullivan has led BOK Financial’s Colorado Market as President and Chief Executive Officer. In his role, Bill works to strengthen the community – by investing in our community’s greatest needs or funneling capital into growing companies and the local economy.
What is most interesting to Bill is partnering with businesses and knowing that the bank has an ability to help them grow. Helping a business flourish – which in turn gives a business owner an opportunity to hire people and drive the economy – is something that Bill is proud of. And as a former business owner himself, Bill understands the challenges that businesses face every day.
Bill’s commitment to BOK Financial and its clients stems from the organization’s culture and ability to provide service and expertise. The bank’s size allows it to meet the credit needs and services to support growing businesses, yet the company is small and nimble enough so that at any moment, anyone can ring up all the resources of the bank to get answers and solutions for customers.
Community service and investment are also important to Bill. Under his stewardship, the BOKF Foundation grants and partners with nonprofits throughout the year. Bill serves on the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation Executive Committee and boards of the Colorado Bankers Association, Boy Scouts of America Denver Area Council and Colorado UpLift.
Bill has a BBA degree in Finance from the University of Iowa and an MM degree in Finance from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, skiing, and most importantly, spending time with his wife and four children.
