Andrea Thomas founded Voices for Awareness after her 32-year-old daughter, who was herself a mother of an 8-year-old boy, died of fentanyl poisoning after she took half of what she thought was an ordinary pain killer to help her deal with the pain of recurrent pancreatitis. She's also the founder of Facing Fentanyl.
