Weds Blogcast: your riskiest decision?; AOC pretends to be handcuffed

Just One Thing

Normally I'd save this video to the end but for those folks who might check the beginning of the blogcast and not the end, I wanted to make sure you see AOC pretending to be handcuffed as a police officer leads her away from a protest outside the Supreme Court. She really is bad news...and yet I still contend that Reps Pressley, Tlaib, Omar, and Bush are worse.

By the way, as of 8 PM Tuesday, this video had been viewed 5.5 MILLION times...and that doesn't count other sites or other Twitter accounts that might have posted it.

Today's Guest

Scott Lincicome is always an insightful and entertaining guest. Scott is the author of the "Capitolism" newsletter for TheDispatch.com, the director of general economic studies at the Cato Institute, and a visiting lecturer at Duke University Law School.

Our topic for today is the danger of the "Precautionary Principle" which is commonly invoked these days in discussions about climate change by people saying "we must do something now because of what might happen in the future." But those folks ALWAYS ignore the certain costs of their "solutions" while also not considering that their guesses as to the distant future come with very very large potential errors.
