ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos’ 2022 schedule, which features seven nationally televised games, including five primetime contests, was released by the National Football League on Thursday.

Denver’s schedule consists of eight games against 2021 postseason teams, including four at Empower Field at Mile High and six after the team’s Week 9 bye. In addition to playing their AFC West opponents twice, the Broncos will face all four teams in the AFC South and NFC West while squaring off against the 2021 fourth-place teams in the AFC East, NFC South and AFC North.

For the second time in the last three seasons, Denver is scheduled to appear in all three of the NFL’s primetime game formats (TNF, SNF & MNF) and is currently slated to have seven nationally televised games in total. The Broncos are set to open the season on the road for the second consecutive year and play the Seattle Seahawks on ESPN’s Monday Night Football (Sept. 12, 5:15 p.m. PDT).

The Broncos, who have won eight of their last 10 season openers, have the league’s best all-time winning percentage (.667) and fifth-most wins (40) in Week 1. They have faced the Seahawks on three previous occasions to start the season, last meeting in the 2018 opener on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018 (at Denver 27, Seattle 24).

Following the season opener, Denver will have back-to-back home games at Empower Field at Mile High in Weeks 2-3. The home opener will be against the Houston Texans (2:25 p.m. MDT, CBS) on Sunday, Sept. 18, followed by a Week 3 contest against the San Francisco 49ers on NBC’s Sunday Night Football (Sept. 25, 6:20 p.m. MDT).

The Broncos will begin AFC West play in Week 4 when the club travels to Allegiant Stadium to play the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, Oct. 2 (1:25 p.m. PDT, CBS). Week 5 features the Broncos’ third primetime game of the season when the team hosts the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday Night Football (Oct. 6, 6:15 p.m. MDT).

In Week 6, Denver embarks on it’s first of two trips to Inglewood, Calif., and SoFi Stadium. The Broncos play on ESPN’s Monday Night Football for the second time in 2022 and will go head-to-head with the L.A. Chargers (Oct. 17, 5:15 p.m. PDT).

The Broncos return home in Week 7 to host the N.Y. Jets for the second consecutive season on Sunday, Oct. 23 (2:05 p.m. MDT, CBS). The Broncos own a 21-16-1 all-time record against the Jets and have won each of the last two meetings.

Week 8 features the Broncos’ trip to London, where the club will take on the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 30 (1:30 p.m. GMT, ESPN+). The Broncos lost their 2010 contest at Wembley Stadium but has won three of its last four games against Jacksonville dating back to 2013.

Denver’s bye week will come in Week 9, marking the exact halfway point of the 2022 NFL regular season. Following the bye, the team will travel to Nashville for the first time since 2016 to take on the Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium on Sunday, Nov. 13 (1 p.m. EST, CBS).

The Broncos will complete their season series with Las Vegas in Week 11 when the team hosts the Raiders on Sunday, Nov. 20 (2:05 p.m. MST, FOX). Weeks 12-13 include back-to-back road games when the team heads east to play the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, Nov. 27 (1 p.m. EST, FOX), and the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, Dec. 4 (1 p.m. EST, CBS).

Subsequently, the Broncos will have consecutive home games in mid-December (Weeks 14-15) against two teams who made the 2021 postseason. Week 14 features the Broncos’ second game on NBC’s Sunday Night Football against the Kansas City Chiefs (Dec. 11, 6:20 p.m. MST) followed by a Week 15 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, Dec. 18 (2:05 p.m. MST, FOX).

For the fourth time in team history, the Broncos will play on Christmas Day and will take on the defending Super Bowl-Champion L.A. Rams at SoFi Stadium in Week 16. The team is 2-1 all time in games played on Christmas Day with wins over Detroit in 1999 and Tennessee in 2004.

The Broncos’ 2022 season concludes with consecutive interdivisional games in Weeks 17 and 18. The team will kick off the new year and travel to play Kansas City on Sunday, Jan. 1 (12 p.m. CST, CBS) followed by the season/home finale against the L.A. Chargers on either Saturday, Jan. 7 or Sunday, Jan. 8.

In Week 18, two games will be played on Saturday with the remainder to be played on Sunday afternoon and one matchup on Sunday night. Specific dates, start times, and networks for Week 18 matchups will be determined and announced following the conclusion of Week 17.

The Broncos will open the preseason at home against the Dallas Cowboys (Aug. 11-15) followed by a road contest at Buffalo (Aug. 18-22) and a home tilt versus Minnesota (Aug. 25-29). Specific dates and times will be announced at a later date.

KOA (850 AM & 94.1 FM) will broadcast all Broncos games as the team’s flagship radio station for the 53rd consecutive season. Dave Logan (play-by-play), Rick Lewis (analyst) and Susie Wargin (sideline reporter) will be on the call for all Broncos’ preseason and regular-season contests.
