3rd time's a charm, as after 2 postponements because of Covid, The CU Buffs bounced back from 2 straight losses to the L.A. schools, by beating Oregon 82-78 in Eugene last night. Sophomore Forward Jabari Walker led all scorers with 24, and rebounders with 11. Fellow Sophomores, guard Keeshawn Barthelemy added 19 points, forward Tristan Da Silva had 15 points.
With the win, CU improves to 13-6 Overall, 5-4 in Pac 12 Play. They'll look for a 2nd straight win Thursday at Washington. Tipoff at 9:00 Mountain Time, Our KOA Pregame Coverage begins at 8:30
NEVADA 66 - No. 22 CSU 77
The CSU Rams continue their hot play, as they erased a 10-point deficit to win by 11 over the visiting Nevada Wolfpack, Tuesday night in Ft. Collins.
Junior Forward David Roddy led CSU with 18 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals. Junior Guard Isaiah Stevens had 16 points and 5 rebounds. Graduate guard Chandler Jacobs added 14, while Senior Guard Kendle Moore chipped in 9.
With the win, Niko Medved's squad improved to 16-1 overall, 6-1 in Mountain West Play. Next up they host UNLV Friday night at Moby Arena
Air Force 63 - San Jose St. 53
The Falcons went on the road, Monday night, and beat the Spartans by 10. Senior Guard AJ Walker led Air Force with 12 points. It was the 11th time Walker has led Air Force in scoring this season. Head Coach Joe Scott notched his 250th Career Win.
Air Force, who improved to 10-8 overall, 3-4 in Mountain West Play, hosts Wyoming Friday afternoon.
Wyoming 62 - Boise St. 65
The Wyoming Cowboys had came up just short in Boise Monday night, as they fell to the Broncos by 3, snapping their 6-game winning streak. Sophomore Forward Graham Ike, who played his high school ball at Overland, led all scorers with 19. It was the Cowboys first loss in conference play. They are 4-1 in Mountain West Play, 15-3, overall.
Friday afternoon they look to get back on track at Air Force.
