Las Vegas Raiders head coach Jon Gruden is set to resign after additional emails came out revealing a pattern of inappropriate language over the course of seven years, from 2011-2018.
KOA Broncos Insider Benjamin Allbright confirmed the original report by Tom Pelisero of the NFL Network.
The Raiders received the emails from the league. Earlier Monday, the New York Times received and reviewed the emails in question and asked the Raiders and Gruden for comment.
Allbright confirmed that Gruden and Raiders owner Mark Davis met on Monday and Gruden is expected to submit his official resignation at any time.
Allbright says Raiders offensive coordinator Greg Olsen is expected to take over play-calling duties, at least for now. Defensive coordinator Gus Bradley is a candidate to become the Raiders interim head coach.
The Raiders will be in Denver to take on the Broncos this Sunday, October 17.
