Forgiving student loans

I guess I'm just not a very forgiving person, but I'm against ALL of this. Why should we allow the government to incentivize people to go into particular jobs, especially to work for the government, by forcing everyone else to pay for those people's college tuitions? This is a perfect example of a government program that should be eliminated but that even Republicans will be afraid to touch.
