CANADA IS SET TO OPEN ITS BORDER TO U-S TRAVELERS ON MONDAY. HOWEVER... IT IS ONLY OPENING TO VACCINATED TRAVELERS. ANYONE SHOWING SYMPTOMS OF THE VIRUS WILL BE TURNED AWAY. CANADA'S BORDER HAS BEEN CLOSED TO THE U-S DUE TO THE ONGOING COVID-19 PANDEMIC.

-- Starting August 9, fully vaccinated U.S. citizens and permanent residents can cross the border.
-- Accepted vaccines are Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca/COVISHIELD and Janssen (Johnson & Johnson). Travelers must prove that they received their final shot at least 14 days before traveling.
-- Children under 12 who are not vaccinated can also go to Canada if they are accompanied with a fully vaccinated parent or guardian, but they will have to get tested on the first and eighth day of their trip.
