THE MONTH OF JUNE IS L-G-B-T-Q PRIDE MONTH. PRIDE WAS ORIGINALLY SET UP TO MARK THE REMEMBRANCE OF THE 1969 STONEWALL UPRISING IN MANHATTAN. IT’S NOW A MONTH FOCUSED ON HIGHLIGHTING THE ISSUES FACING THE L-G-B-T-Q COMMUNITY AND THE PROGRESS THAT HAS BEEN MADE SO FAR. HERE IN DENVER… PRIDE EVENTS ARE SCHEDULED THROUGHOUT THE MONTH… WITH PRIDE-FEST HAPPENING ON JUNE 20-TH AND 21-ST.
WE’RE LOOKING AT PRIDE MONTH WITH ONE COLORADO EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR NADINE BRIDGES.
