Denver is set to receive the full city and county allocation of over $308M from the American Rescue Act to restore city services, eliminate furloughs, support vaccination efforts and build financial recovery for Denver’s residents. Local governments will receive funds in two tranches, with 50 percent provided in May 2021 and the balance delivered approximately 12 months later. Denver’s Rebuilding for an Inclusive and Sustainable Economy plan, or RISE Denver, will handle the investments.
