The Denver Broncos couldn't wait until No. 40 to make their selection in the 2nd Round, so George Paton trades up to No. 35 with Atlanta, and send the Falcons pick No. 114 in the 4th round, and acquire their 6th Round pick, number 219 and select Javonte Williams, a running back from North Carolina.

Williams played in 11 games as a freshman, ran for 224 yards and 5 Touchdowns. As a sophomore, he played in all 13 games, splitting carries with Michael Carter but posted 933 yards and another 5 scores. His final year in Chapel Hill, Williams played in 11 games, rushing for 1,133 yards and 19 TDs.
