After trading back not once, but twice, the Broncos selected Quinn Meinerz, a versatile Offensive Lineman from Division III Wisconsin-Whitewater with the 98th pick in the 3rd Round. Originally scheduled to draft at No. 71, GM George Paton slid back 5 spots to No. 76 with the Giants, and acquired pick 164 from New York in the 5th round. Then they flipped No. 76 to the Saints for picks No. 98 and 105, which is the final pick of the round.

Meinerz stole the show at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama where when he wasn't pushing defenders from bigger schools around all week in practice, he was strutting around in a belly shirt, despite tipping the scales at 320 pounds!

If you want to get know the Division III All-American, who grew up in Hartford Wisconsin, Broncos Country Tonight had him on as a guest in February. He is definitely a character.
