The Broncos got what they consider a steal when they selected versatile Ohio St. Linebacker Baron Browning with the final pick in the 3rd round of the draft Friday at No. 105.

Following the conclusion of Day 2 of the Draft, Head Coach Vic Fangio and General Manager George Paton met the media. Paton admitted it was a risk trading back from No. 71 in the 3rd round, to No. 76 and ultimately to picks No. 98 and 105.

Browning was one of the top recruits in the country coming out of Kennendale High School in Texas. After 3 years as an Inside Linebacker, he returned to school as a senior and moved to Outside Linebacker where he racked up 11 tackles for loss and 5 sacks.
