APPARENTLY IT'S TIME FOR A TALK ABOUT ZOOM ETIQUETTE AGAIN First off, I saw this meme and it's SO PERFECT I had to share.
We've all learned to manage Zoom, but APPARENTLY some of us need a quick refresher course. Like, hey guys, don't whip out Mr. Happy and begin to pleasure yourself during a work meeting, k? I don't know who else other than the New Yorker's Jeffrey Toobin needs to hear this, but based on the number of men I saw on Twitter this morning defending this creep, a LOT do. Toobin has been suspended after doing just that, although I'm not sure what one must do to be fired from the New Yorker if wanking off on a work call doesn't meet that standard. What a gross story about a gross man. He's the guy, by the way, who knocked up one of his co-workers DAUGHTER'S and then offered her money for an abortion but refused to take responsibility for the child until forced to. He's a real piece of work. How is his wife still married to him???
ABOUT THAT DANISH MASK STUDY I MENTIONED YESTERDAY There was a study, now completed, which took place in Denmark with 6,000 volunteers. 3,000 of them were given masks and told to wear them ALL THE TIME when out in public in every circumstance, the other 3,000 were told NOT to mask up. I said yesterday that I was curious about why, knowing the study was complete, we haven't heard a PEEP about preliminary results. You'd think if this study showed masks worked, that would have already been trumpeted as the Gold Standard research that proved once and for all politicians are right. BUT, they haven't said anything. Journalist Alex Berensen sent an email to one of the researchers asking why they haven't released it. Look at this:
I'm guessing masks don't work and they don't want to be the one's to burst the world's bubble. Here's hoping I'm right.

Seems he JUST figured out that the Evil Rich Who Doesn't Pay His Fair Share is HIM. Can you imagine being Scarlet Johannson, who earned $56 million in 2019, finding out that your team wants to scrape off 62.6 of anything over $400k? That's over 35 MILLION dollars in taxes, especially because the Biden tax plan ALSO limits the hell out of deductions for people in high tax brackets. It's almost going to be fun to watch all these celebs join the Republican party when this happens. He joins THESE celebrities in endorsing Trump.
BUST OUT THE MOUTHWASH, IT COULD HELP STOP THE SPREAD OF THE RONA At least in preliminary studies anyway. Also, nasal washes work too. I recommend the Navage if you have consistent nasal problems. It's been a Godsend to us.
THE JURY IS STILL OUT ON SWEDEN AND DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU DIFFERENT This is another point I've made REPEATEDLY while talking about Sweden's handling of the pandemic: we will not KNOW how Sweden really did until the pandemic is over. Right now their deaths and hospitalizations have cratered and they are experiencing a SLIGHT uptick that is nothing compared to the upticks in locked down nations in Europe. I have a feeling that the overall death rate in Sweden is going to be far lower in the long run than many other places. Read more here.
