The hot, dry weather has perked up some portions of the Grizzly Creek fire in Glenwood Canyon.
Those flare ups have occurred on both sides of I-70.
Most of the hot spots have been within the fire perimeter.
That perimeter has not changed much in the last few days. The fire size has stayed relatively steady at between 32,000 and 33,000 acres. Its containment is 83%.
There are six firefighting crews, with 28 engines and four helicopters. A red flag warning is up for most of Labor Day and into Monday evening.
